Jeff Stevens, Managing Director

Anacapa’s founder, Jeff Stevens, was the CEO of three venture-backed buyouts: Balkin Cable Holdings (cable television), Ancora Capital (mail presort) and Liberty Fitness (women’s fitness centers). He later founded Deeelish! (ready-to-cook gourmet meals). In each venture he was responsible for sourcing, industry analysis, due diligence and fundraising, then became the senior executive of the acquired company. Jeff received his BA and MBA from Stanford University, where he remains active with the Graduate School of Business and the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. He serves on the boards of Advanced Network Solutions, Recruit Military and Sage Data Security.
